red x-mass

here's two albums that make me feel a little better in the midst of all this epic consumerism going on right now.

16 Bitch Pile Up - Make Like An Abortion And Feed Us (Make Like A Fetus And Abort)
a classic cdr from ohios all female noise terror masters.

Suicidal Rap Orgy - Genital Warfare
a group of hard core rhyme slingin' aussie sickos obsessed with killing, fucking, shitting, and general fucking hate.

R.I.P. Peter Christopherson

I know I'm about a week late in posting this but it's been busy around here:
Whether it be his visionary musical work with Throbbing Gristle, Coil, etc. His stunning design work as part of Hipgnosis, or his invocations in film and video, His creative works have been a major source of joy and inspiration for me through the years. He's seriously, one of my few artistic heroes. Hell, maybe even life hero. It seemed like he always had a deep appreciation for mortality, and the transient beauty of life and it's mysteries.

"What I'm living day-by-day, even at work, is my every whim, my deepest fantasy, my personal Yellow Brick Road -How few people can really say that, and believe it?
I am truly blessed!I will be delighted if even a little of my joy and intensity gets through to those who listen....I may not quite have reached the Emerald City just yet, but you know, it's just over the next hill..."

- Peter Christopherson - Feb 12 2009

Coil - Time Machines
("time machines" has a rather specific bio chemical concept that should be apparent from the song titles. if you are friendly with the compounds mentioned i believe you know what to do.)

Throbbing Gristle - Nothing Short of Total War
( you should know this by now.)

GAZE

Speaking of Soundcloud, Oakland's killer triptronic trio, Gaze, has a few jams up over there.
Gaze - Commercial Muzak
Gaze - 4excerpt

The "Pops" Science Story

The "Pops" Science Story is available for free on Soundcloud. If you're not familiar with T"P"SS, then you're in for a treat. It's a sort of absurdist new wave radio show realized on magnetic tape. Just listen.

Arboga Teenage Riot

Hard bangin' no-fi bedroom rave grind destruction.
Arboga Teenage Riot

Martin Denny - Throbbing Gristle - High School - Etc...

1959. The same year that the U.S. took Alaska as the 49th state and Fidel Castro took Cuba, Martin Denny took America's imaginations on a cruise to far off lands of exotic romance with Afrodesia. Seriously, look at these dudes. So smooth, so fun, even the birds and frogs wanted to jam with them. No wonder middle america was so eager to embrace this strange, lush, (dare I say it?) exotic music.I, like many teenagers with combat boots and eyeliner in the 90's discovered Martin Denny through Throbbing Gristle. Heathen Earth was my jam. Dig it with some headphones and a dream machine.

eternal young soul, taste the balls!

Speaking of rhythm and noise, here's a short mix for you guys. Are you ready for some musical multitasking?
Sympathy Nervous - ? / Thames - ?
16BPU - something poked up
Scientist - creatiton mix / Emeralds - overboard (off the deep end)
Skaters - ? / Martin Denny - temptation
Hapiness Boys - blonde with mouth open / The Haters - an interview (over the phone)
german TMNT theme

international friendship

Here's another classic german album that some how snuck past me, until now. This first album from Deutsch-Amerikanische Freundschaft is fuckin' killer, full on dance noise. German electro grooves with american style art noise. After this album they stripped down to a duo and started working with Conny Plank. That shit's pretty killer too, but right now, this is my jam.
D.A.F. - Die Kleinen und Die Bösen

liliental

I'm not sure how it took me so long to discover this little gem. It's exactly the kind of awesomeness you'd expected from a Moebius / Plank / Tietchens joint, all glorious ambiance and playful melodicism with a smooth teutonic groove. Dig It

AYAT

The bros over at Illogical Contraption recently upped this massive wad of blackened anti religious nihilism from Lebanese warlords AYAT.
Blasting, galloping, godless awesomeness with really great samples (none of your usual preacher/politico/manson shit). Plus, i fucking love that logo.
get "Six Years Of Dormant Hatred" HERE.

and seriously. dig the Ill Con.

Occasional Detroit, fuck. These cat's are in a class of their own, no bullshit. Have you ever tried to imagine what it would've sounded like if Smegma and The Furious Five hung out? Then you might be prepared for O.D., but probably not. As requested.
Check out this live shit from the End Times Festival

The Occasional Bomb 7"
(I think Gay Bomb is jamming on this, too.)

gerritt and p. knowles

this is just a sample of a gerritt and p. knowles performance from a few months back. it sort of gives an idea of some of the aesthetic principles being explored in gerritt's current touring pieces. intense and awesome as always. go see it live.

make yr own lightning

As requested here's a sample of Seven Lies About Girls's massive psychomorphic mind bomb "Make Yr Own Lightning". This is one massive three and a half hour long free jam spread across 4 cdrs, intended to be played from any starting point. Personnel for this recording were: J. Eisold- guitar, effects, A. Hibbs (Sword Heaven) - drums, J. Hanniver - sampling, digital manipulation.

There's still 3 or 4 copies available from Teen Action Records so I won't post the whole thing. But, for your listening pleasure, here's the first 20 minutes from the third disc.
